Working Principle of Horizontal Centrifuge
The horizontal centrifuge is a commonly used centrifugal separation equipment. Its working principle is based on the interaction between centrifugal force and vibration force. In a horizontal vibrating centrifuge, the material mixture is loaded into the rotating drum. When the centrifuge starts, the drum rotates and simultaneously vibrates in a horizontal direction. This vibration generates varying centrifugal forces, enhancing the separation effect. As the mixture rotates, the heavier components settle closer to the drum wall due to centrifugal force, while lighter components move towards the center of the drum. As the separation progresses, the collected components are separated and discharged by the collection system. By combining centrifugal and vibration forces, the horizontal centrifuge achieves highly efficient material separation, widely applied in industries such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and environmental protection.
